Do you agree more with Marissa mayer’s point of view or with mission flex
jobs?
Ans:- Both the points has different values but I agree more with Marissa mayer’s
point of view because togetherness brings more ideas. According to him people
are more productive when they are alone but they are more collaborative and
innovative when they're together.
What type of employees or managers might be most attracted to flexible work
arrangements?
Ans:- Parents who want to be more flexible for their kids and families , someone
looking for a second job or supplemental income ,military spouses who need
flexibility to work from anywhere , people need physical or health issues I
retirees looking to stay professional active and earn some income, competitive
athletes also want professional jobs that will fit around their training and
competition schedules and anyone else who would appreciate the job that fits
with their life not a life that fits with their job.

1) Flex time is an arrangement where employees work a full day but they can vary
their working hours.
2) Productivity-Where staff are able to balance priorities in a less stressful manner,
there is more energy left for mental work tasks.
3) Better for health and environment . If you are ill, telecommuting allows one to
recover faster without being forced to be in the office.
4) Keeping older generations in the workforce
5) No matter what size business you run, keeping costs to a minimum is always on
the agenda. Telecommuting helps reduce operating costs, cash in on the appeal
factor and boost your bottom line.

The employee has less personal contact with managers and coworkers,
hindering communication. It can be more difficult for managers to supervise
someone working from home. The worker may have more disruptions at home,
resulting in reduced productivity. You might miss the social aspect of working
with peers.
Employees are left out of social activities.
Employees experience less creativity due to lack of collaboration.
What sort of challenges Dose managing a Tele communicating workforce bring?
Ans:- Feeling Isolated. If you work from home often—and especially if you’re a
full-time remote worker—you know that telecommuting can make you feel
isolated.
Lack of Focus
Though remote work has been proven to increase productivity in employees, it’s
only natural to lose your focus and motivation every now and then.
Technical Problems
Not having an IT department on call can become a huge hassle when you run
into problems with your computer.
Different Time Zones
On remote teams with employees spread across many time zones, it can be
hard to stay connected with colleagues and find times to meet that are
convenient for everyone.
Working Too Hard and Too Often
Distracting Little Ones
The Lure of the Fridge
Even the least distracted among us can be tempted by the promise of snacks. To
avoid constantly thinking about snacking, schedule snack breaks into your
workday, guaranteeing your rumbling tummy won’t be a continuous distraction.
